Service Description

Welcome to Tennis Rocks – KS2 Our KS2 programme builds on the foundations developed in the early years, helping children become more confident, independent and resilient both on and off the tennis court. Through fun, engaging coaching sessions, children continue to develop their tennis skills while gaining valuable life skills that support them at school, at home and in everyday life. Throughout the programme, children will develop: Improved racket skills, coordination and movement Speed, agility, balance and overall fitness Tactical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making Concentration, focus and self-discipline Confidence, perseverance and resilience Goal setting and the satisfaction of achieving personal progress Respect, sportsmanship and teamwork Positive friendships and a sense of belonging Racket sports are recognised for supporting healthy brain development by encouraging quick thinking, coordination, concentration and decision-making, all while keeping children active and engaged. Above all, our aim is to inspire a lifelong love of sport. We want every child to feel challenged, encouraged and proud of their progress, regardless of their starting ability. Every success is celebrated, every effort is recognised, and every child is given the opportunity to grow in confidence while enjoying the game of tennis. At Tennis Rocks, we are passionate about helping children develop not only as tennis players but as confident, active and resilient young people.
