Service Description

These tennis days have been running successfully for several years and have always proved extremely popular with the children. Whether a child is picking up a racket for the first time or already has some experience, the day is designed to be fun, active, and inclusive for all abilities. It is also a wonderful social opportunity, helping children build confidence, teamwork, and new friendships. Tennis and other racket sports are not only enjoyable but are also recognised as being very beneficial for children’s development. They help improve balance, coordination, focus, and reaction speed, while also stimulating brain activity and encouraging problem-solving skills — all while keeping children active and engaged. Equipment: All tennis equipment will be provided. No prior experience is necessary. (Your child can bring a tennis racket, but please remember to name it clearly. Our coaching team are fully qualified, hold enhanced DBS checks, First Aid certification, and safeguarding accreditation. W During the morning session, children learn tennis shots and skills. After lunch, they practise what they’ve learned through games and activities. Tennis helps develop: Balance and coordination Focus and reaction speed Confidence and teamwork Brain stimulation and problem-solving skills No prior tennis experience is needed — all equipment is provided. Time & Location Drop-Off: 9:15 a.m. Pick-Up: 3:00 p.m. What to Bring: Refillable Water Bottle Snacks for Break Time (bananas or dried fruit ideal) Suncream Rain Jacket Spare / Extra Clothes suitable for sports Lunch: Provided by the school. Parents only need to provide snacks and drinks. Weather Plan Activities take place outdoors where possible. Indoor clubhouse activities are available if the weather requires. Cancellation Policy

By paying for coaching, you agree to these terms and conditions. Purpose: The policy aims to create a safe, fair, and enjoyable environment for all members, guests, and the coaching team. Scope: It applies to everyone participating in coaching activities at the tennis club, schools, or other venues, as well as those using the club’s facilities. Equality and Inclusion: We are committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion. Equality and Respect: Discrimination, harassment, or bullying is not tolerated. Behaviour Expectations: Members, guests, and the coaching team must behave courteously and sportsmanlike. Liability and Safety: Participants acknowledge risks in sports activities. Lost Property: Personal belongings are not the club’s responsibility. Booking and Refunds: Coaching sessions are non-refundable, but make-up sessions are allowed for missed classes. For all individual lessons, the coach will need 24 hours notice; otherwise, you will still owe the fee for that lesson because it is not always possible to fill that slot with someone else if shorter notice is given. Photographs and Filming: Photos and videos taken during coaching sessions may be used to promote Tennis Rocks programs, events, and camps via social media. Feedback and Suggestions: Tennis Rocks values feedback from members, guests, and the coaching team. Send feedback to admin@tennisrocks.co.uk, and the head coach will review and respond promptly. Annual Review: This policy will be reviewed annually by Paul Rock and updated as needed. Communication of Changes: Any policy changes will be communicated to all members, guests, and staff through email, newsletters, notice boards, or the website.
